Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a dynamic Lounge Server for part-time shifts in a fast-paced dining room. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and participate in promotions to build guest loyalty.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required in this energetic environment. Two years of experience in casual dining, cash handling skills, and relevant certifications (Smart Serve Ontario) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years or more experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register.
• Tourism, promotion, marketing, entertainment or event training experience preferred.
• World Host / Super Host or other customer service programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and demonstrates expert knowledge of products, events and promotions.
• Takes orders, expedites and serves food and beverages accurately within time guidelines.
• Participates in promotional activities including social media, events and photo sessions.
• Introduces or presents live entertainment as required.
