Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Ontario is seeking a dynamic Lounge Server to join our team. This part-time role offers evenings and weekends, with a focus on delivering a personalized guest experience and promoting events and products.

You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and participate in promotional activities while building guest loyalty in a fast-paced dining environment. Two years in a high-volume restaurant and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years or more experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Cash handling experience using POS system.
• Serving It Right/Proserve/Smart Serve certifications preferred.
• World Host/Customer service programs preferred.
• Proven selling, marketing and service skills in dining or promotions.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders and serves food and beverages accurately within time guidelines.
• Maintains expert knowledge of products, events and promotions.
• Participates in promotional activities including social media and events.
• Introduces or presents live entertainment as required.
