Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking a casual Lounge Server to deliver a lively guest experience in a fast-paced setting. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and participate in promoting events and products while building guest loyalty.

The role offers flexible evenings and weekends, a supportive team, and access to benefits within a national company with 27 locations.

Qualifications

• Two years or more experience in a similar high-volume restaurant environment.
• Cash handling experience with POS system or cashier.
• Serving It Right/Proserve/Smart Serve certificate preferred.
• World Host/Super Host or similar customer service programs preferred.
• Ability to carry up to 30 pounds with a fully loaded serving tray.
• Knowledge of specialty food and beverage items.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and demonstrates expert knowledge of products, events and promotions.
• Takes orders, expedites and serves food and beverages accurately within time guidelines.
• Participates in promotional activities including social media, events and photo sessions.
• Introduces or presents live entertainment as required.
