Job summary

Oxford Learning St. Albert is seeking a Part-Time Tutor to support elementary students across English and French and related subjects. The role operates after school and in the evenings, with in-person sessions at our St. Albert centre.

No online-only work is required, and relocation is not offered. We provide pre-planned lessons and thorough training on our proprietary teaching philosophy. Ideal candidates have a university background, tutoring experience, and a passion for helping students

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
• Fourth-year university students with tutoring experience will be considered.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 9 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time in after-school and evening hours.
• Teach online and in-person sessions.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Fill in post-lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.
