Job summary

Oxford Learning Edmonton Windermere is seeking a part-time High School English & Social Studies Tutor to help students improve language and community understanding. The role is in‑person, after‑school and evening hours, with Saturday shifts, and requires reliable attendance.

You will work with up to three students at a time, using pre‑planned lessons and our proprietary teaching methods. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification is preferred, and vulnerable sector screening is required.

Qualifications

• Strong English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and guide up to three students at a time.
• Experience teaching/tutoring at K-12 level.
• Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Teaching online and in-person.
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Filling in post-lesson notes.
• Completing daily student communication updates.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
