Job summary

Oxford Learning Edmonton North Glenora is seeking part-time Teacher-Tutors to support Elementary reading, writing, math and French, and High School math, science, and English. No lesson planning is required; training is provided in our proven method.

Position is in-person with after-school/evening and weekend hours. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with paid training and potential for summer continuation as the centre grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• Ongoing post-secondary studies or teaching background.
• Teaching certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 Elementary students or up to 2 High School students at a time.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Complete daily student communications and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and engaging learning environment.
