Job summary

Lookout Housing and Health Society seeks a Supervisor to manage the daily operations of Russell Residence and Housing Centre in New Westminster. The role supports adults living in residence and guides them toward greater independence, while ensuring program mandates, policies, and procedures are followed.

The position requires respirator fit testing as part of COR certification, adherence to WorkSafeBC health and safety requirements, and the ability to supervise staff and coordinate service

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education plus two years of related experience or equivalent.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Must have OFA 1 First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and adhere to policies.
• Coordinate service engagement, planning, and discharge.
• Engage tenants and support service delivery.
• Complete records and maintain statistics.
• Participate in intake, assessments, and crisis intervention; administers meds and finances.
• Occasional external travel; use of a vehicle may be required.
• Duties are complex and may include difficult factors.
• Remain alert during shifts; sleeping is not permitted.
• Uphold health and safety program compliance.
