Job summary

Oxford Learning West Vancouver is seeking enthusiastic, reliable part-time teachers and tutors to support elementary and high school students in a small-group setting. No teaching certification required; university students, recent graduates, and experienced tutors are encouraged to apply.

You will work with up to three students, with materials provided and no lesson planning. Shifts on weekdays after 3:30 PM and Saturdays are available, at 202-1760 Marine Drive, Vancouver.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with children and teens, patient and encouraging.
• Able to explain concepts in multiple ways.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of a consistent weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in small groups (up to three).
• Follow Oxford Learning programs tailored to each student.
• Utilize provided teaching materials; no lesson planning required.
• Maintain a supportive, encouraging learning environment.
