Job summary

Smartsearchonline in Schomberg, ON is seeking a Deskside Technician II to provide onsite IT support for a large corporate environment. You will handle desktop and laptop support (Mac and PC), Windows 7/10, mobile devices, printers, scanners, VPN, and asset documentation, focusing on fast, accurate incident resolution.

Experience with on-call support and the ability to work across locations are valued. A High School Diploma is required, and ITIL/A+ certifications are preferred to support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Deskside/Desktop/End User Computer experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
• Experience with Mac OS and Windows OS.
• Proven ability to handle challenging, rapid-response user support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1/2 deskside support for IT equipment in a large corporate environment.
• Support Mac and Windows desktops and laptops.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows 7/10 systems.
• Support mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless, VPN.
• IMAC/Install-Move-Add-Change and asset documentation.
• Inventory management of IT assets and documentation.
• Work on-call and after-hours support as needed.
