Job summary

Oxford Learning Danforth is seeking part-time Teacher-Tutors to work after school hours to support students in math. You will teach up to three students simultaneously, in-person at the Toronto learning centre, using Oxford Learning methodologies.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong math skills, and reliable communication. Training is provided; evening shifts from 4:00pm to 8:00pm; not online, commuting required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
• Teaching certification an asset
• Good knowledge of the current Grades 1-12 math curriculum

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
• Teaching online and in-person
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Filling in post-lesson notes
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
