Job summary

Oxford Learning Markham East is seeking a part‑time Math Teacher/Tutor to teach after‑school and evenings (4:00 pm–8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (10:00 am–1:00 pm). The in‑person role requires commuting to the Markham East location and serving up to three students per session.

Position Overview

Oxford Learning Markham East is looking for part‑time Math Teacher/Tutors to work during after‑school and evening hours (4:00 pm – 8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (10:00 am – 1:00 pm). The role is in‑person and requires the candidate to commute to the location.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach up to three students at a time at different grade levels (Grades 3‑10).
• Deliver lessons using Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Fill in post‑lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

• Strong math skills with the ability to guide students’ understanding.
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.

Additional Requirements

Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory. A commitment until the end of the term in June is preferred; continuing through the summer is even better. Relocation packages are not available.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $17.60 per hour. Schedule: Evenings Monday to Friday; Saturday availability. Position is part‑time.
