Canadian Hospital Specialties Ltd. in Mississauga is seeking an Injection Molding Assistant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the injection molding department, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.

You will lead a team, coordinate equipment and materials, drive continuous improvement, and maintain safety and compliance while collaborating with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate preferred.
• Experience in setup/operation of molding machinery in ISO environment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the injection molding department.
• Adhere to work schedules and monitor employee performance.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate mold changeovers and production setups.
• Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime with maintenance and engineering.
• Verify products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Enforce workplace safety policies and train staff.
• Maintain production, scrap, downtime, and labor records.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Tooling, and Supply Chain.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support lean, 6S, and continuous improvement programs.
