SBS Drivetec Inc | Burger Group is seeking an Injection Molding Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing operation in Barrie, Ontario. You will set up, operate, and optimize Engel and Arburg molding equipment, run robotic cells, and perform quality inspections to ensure consistent part quality.

The role involves working on afternoons (2:00pm-10:00pm) after initial training mornings (8:00am-4:30pm). Health benefits and other employee perks are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of injection molding experience, preferably automotive.
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of AQMS IATF 16949.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, maintain, repair and assemble molds.
• Set up and run molding equipment and production lines.
• Perform 1st article inspections and in-process measurements.
• Monitor processes for quality and safety, document results

Job description

We are looking for an Injection Molding Technician to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on roleis responsible forsetting up,operating, andoptimizinginjection molding machines to ensure the consistent production of high-quality parts. The successful candidate will perform mold changes,monitorproduction processes, troubleshootequipmentand process issues, and carry out routine maintenance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Working closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams, the Injection Molding Technician plays a key role in supporting safe, reliable, and productive manufacturing operations.

Monday- Friday | 2:00pm-10:00pm. The position we are hiring is for the afternoon shift, although the first few weeks of training will take place from 8:00am - 4:30pm.
