Job summary

Oxford Learning Don Mills is seeking a part-time French teacher/tutor to support students up to Grade 12 in after-school hours. The role is in‑person at Don Mills, with hours typically 3:00pm–8:00pm on weekdays and some Saturdays.

Candidates should be fluent in French and English, comfortable teaching multiple students, and able to commute to North York area; vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong background in spoken and written French and English; comfortable teaching up to Grade 9, ideally Grade 12.
• Able to teach up to three students simultaneously after school hours.
• In-person teaching; reliable with commute to Don Mills; vulnerable sector screening mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time across different levels.
• Teach both online and in-person sessions; follow Oxford Learning methodologies.
• Fill in post-lesson notes and maintain daily student communications.
• Maintain a friendly, professional manner at all times.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and student engagement.
