Job summary

Oxford Learning Pickering seeks a part‑time French teacher/tutor for elementary students. You will teach up to three students per session, in small groups, after school and some Saturdays, in person at the Pickering location. Curriculum and lessons are provided; relocation is not offered.

Strong written/spoken French and English skills are required. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is expected, with teaching certification considered an asset. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong background in spoken French and English.
• Experience tutoring or teaching at elementary levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; teaching certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time in small groups.
• Teach online and in-person sessions.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and post-lesson notes.
• Complete daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly, professional manner at all times.
