Job summary

Oxford Learning Don Mills is seeking a friendly, reliable French teacher/tutor for a part-time, in-person role. You will work with up to three students at a time, guiding them through the provided curriculum and lessons in a small group setting.

You will teach both online and in-person, following Oxford Learning methodologies, and provide post-lesson notes and daily updates. A strong French/English background and commitment to after-school hours are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
• Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
• Teaching certification an asset
• Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 French core curriculum

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
• Teaching online and in-person
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Filling in post-lesson notes
• Completing daily student communication updates
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
