Job summary

Oxford Learning Mississauga East is seeking a Part-time French Teacher/Tutor to conduct in-person sessions in Mississauga, Ontario. Classes run evenings (Mon–Thu 4:00–8:00 pm) and Saturday mornings (10:00 am–1:00 pm) with a focus on Grade 9–12 French proficiency.

Applicants must be fluent in French and English, hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and have tutoring experience. Relocation is not offered; in‑person sessions only at 925 Rathburn Road East, Tomken Shopping Centre.

Qualifications

• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to teach Grade 9 and up (Grade 12 preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• Prior experience teaching French to Grade 9–12 students.
• Strong communication skills and multitasking with up to three students.
• Teaching certification is an asset.
• Good knowledge of the Grade 9–12 French core curriculum.
• Vulnerable-sector screening mandatory.
• Relocation packages are not available – candidates must reside in or within a short commute of Mississauga.

Employment Type: Part‑time | Pay: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour | Schedule: Evenings (Monday‑Thursday, 4:00‑8:00 pm) and Saturday mornings (10:00‑1:00 pm)
