About Staffing represents a growing construction client seeking an Estimator to join a collaborative team in Calgary, Alberta. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates by reviewing drawings, specs, and scopes of work while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The candidate will perform material take-offs, analyze project documents, and develop timely quotations. A diploma or bachelor’s in a related field is preferred, with 3+ years of estimating or related

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training and practical construction experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, specifications, scopes of work, and technical documents to prepare accurate project estimates and quotations.
• Perform material take-offs and quantity measurements for multi-family developments.
• Analyze project documents and resolve discrepancies by gathering and evaluating relevant information.
• Collaborate with builder representatives, estimators, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and site visits.
• Prepare and submit complete project quotations within established timelines and client deadlines.
• Revise and reissue estimates to reflect site changes or updated project requirements.
• Visit project sites as required to assess conditions and gather information.
