Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Some construction experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of bid preparation and takeoff systems.
• Ability to converse with trades and solicit pricing.

Responsabilités

• Supports estimators on preparing bids and proposals.
• Performs quantity, material and labor takeoffs from project documents.
• Applies unit prices and base labor productivity to estimates.
• Assists with bid document control and archiving.
• Supports bid runner with bid-day tasks.
• Solicits competitive pricing from subtrades and suppliers.
• Maintains relationships with lead estimator, subs and suppliers.
