Job summary

Koehndesign in Calgary, AB is seeking a Construction Estimator for a full-time, on-site role. You will prepare detailed residential cost estimates, conduct quantity take-offs, and price subcontractors. You’ll coordinate with project teams, manage budgets, and contribute to value engineering.

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
• Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, estimating, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in Calgary, AB and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time, on-site Construction Estimator role is based in Calgary, AB. The Construction Estimator will prepare detailed estimates for residential projects, including quantity take-offs, labor and material costing, and subcontractor pricing. Experience in Buildertrend would be an asset- training is also available for someone willing to learn.

Responsibilities include analyzing drawings and specifications, coordinating with project managers, site teams, and suppliers, and preparing bid submissions and cost summaries.
