Job summary

NIWE Academy in Alberta is seeking an Esthetics Mentor to lead practical and theory instruction across esthetics programs, helping students develop technical skills, professionalism and confidence for a successful career.

You will supervise student clinic services, ensure safe, professional experiences, maintain attendance and grades in the LMS, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with the Academy Dean to keep training current.

Qualifications

• Esthetics diploma from a recognized institution.
• 3+ years of professional esthetics experience.
• Teaching, training or mentoring experience, either formally or in-spa.
• Knowledge of Alberta Health Services personal services standards.

Are you an experienced esthetics professional who enjoys helping others build their skills and confidence?

NIWE Academy is looking for an Esthetics Mentor to support the next generation of beauty professionals through practical training, industry knowledge and hands‑on guidance.

About NIWE Academy

Since 2012, NIWE Academy has trained more than 3,500 graduates across hairstyling, barbering, esthetics and wellness. We are a licensed private career college and the only AIT‑approved apprenticeship hairstyling provider in Southern Alberta.

The Role

You’ll deliver practical and theory‑based instruction across our esthetics programs, helping students develop the technical skills, professionalism and confidence they need to succeed in the industry.

You’ll also supervise student clinic services, ensuring every guest receives a safe, professional and positive experience.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Esthetics diploma from a recognized institution
• 3+ years of professional esthetics experience
• Teaching, training or mentoring experience, either formally or in‑spa
• Knowledge of Alberta Health Services personal services standards

Advanced modality certifications, an adult education credential or experience using an LMS such as D2L would be an asset.

• $23-$30 per hour
