Job summary

Fort St. John Hospital, part of Northern Health, is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse for the Emergency department. The role involves direct patient care, assessment, planning, and collaboration with an interprofessional team to deliver high-quality care.

You will practice according to the standards of the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and a patient- and family-centered care model, with rotating days and nights (07:00–19:00, 19:00–07:00).

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) practicing in BC per BCCNM standards.
• Commitment to patient- and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide direct patient care in the Emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for diverse health issues including life-threatening cases.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to ensure quality care.
