Job summary

Northern Health - BC's Fort St. John Hospital is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate patient care in an acute medical unit.

The RN will work under the supervision of the Manager or designate and in accordance with BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards and a patient- and family-centered care model. The role involves evaluating patient needs, collaborating with an interprofessional care team, and rotating shifts including days and nights from 07:00 to 19:00 and

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) registration.
• Experience delivering direct patient care in an acute medical unit.
• Ability to work in a patient- and family-centered care model.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family-centered care model.
The Registered Nurse (RN) practices in a variety of clinical settings, and working collaboratively with the interprofessional care team, provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care to patients in an acute medical unit.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)
