Job summary

Northern Health - BC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in Fort St. John Hospital. You will practice under professional standards and ethical guidelines, delivering compassionate care within a patient- and family-centered model.

The RN will work across clinical settings, collaborating with an interprofessional team to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care in an acute medical unit with rotating day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Experience in acute medical units is preferred.
• Commitment to patient- and family-centered care in a clinical setting.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family-centered care model.
The Registered Nurse (RN) practices in a variety of clinical settings, and working collaboratively with the interprofessional care team, provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care to patients in an acute medical unit.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)
