Job summary

Vixxo is hiring a full-time Equipment Technician to cover Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas. Compensation ranges from $23 to $28 per hour, depending on experience, with a company vehicle and quarterly bonuses.

You will independently perform reactive and preventative maintenance, drive safe, document inspections, and ensure high customer satisfaction while meeting SLA requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of experience servicing equipment, preferably with testing equipment and practices for general electric and water (≤140 chars).
• One year of experience in a customer-facing or customer-service role (≤140 chars).
• Must like coffee: tasting is part of repairs.

Responsibilities

• Repair commercial espresso, coffee brewing, grinding, and water systems in an assigned territory.
• Own relationships with customers and provide professional, reliable services adhering to safety rules.
• Meet SLA requirements including inspections, timely maintenance, and accurate paperwork.

The Role

• Repair commercial espresso, coffee brewing, coffee grinding, and water systems throughout an assigned territory.

• Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements required by customers, which include conducting thorough inspections, performing timely maintenance on equipment correctly the first time, and completing descriptive and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience servicing equipment, preferably with experience using proper testing equipment and practices for general electric and water.


• At least one year of experience in a customer-facing or customer-service role.


• Must like coffee: Tasting is the final step in all repairs.


• Smartphone proficient in inventory, managing, scheduling, and other tasks.


• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
