Job summary

Kichton Construction LP is seeking experienced Multi Operators to join their team on the Syncrude MLX & Suncor Basemine projects near Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will operate a variety of heavy equipment in an oil sands mining environment, with camp accommodations or living out allowance provided.

Ideal candidates will have a strong safety mindset, relevant experience, and the ability to work in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators, dozers, graders, haul trucks, and/or rock trucks in mining, construction, or oil sands environments.
• Ability to work day and night shifts, overtime, and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of mine traffic rules, right-of-way, and safe operating practices.
• Ability to read grade stakes and site plans as required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and mask fit (clean shaven).
• Required Energy Safety Canada training (Common Safety Orientation, H2S Alive, Silica Awareness, etc.).
• Required Suncor/Syncrude site-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment on mining site (excavators, dozers, graders, haul trucks, rock trucks) per site procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and mine traffic rules while coordinating with crew.
• Read grade stakes and site plans to execute earthmoving tasks accurately.
• Maintain open communication with team and supervisors during shifts.

Kichton Construction LP is seeking experienced Multi Operators to join their team at the Syncrude MLX and Suncor Basemine projects near Fort McMurray, Alberta. These roles involve operating a variety of heavy equipment in an oil sands mining environment, with camp accommodations or living out allowance provided. • Wages from $29.00 to $48.00 per hour, based on experience
