Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting Equipment Operators to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for a 2026 Fall Outage. This temporary outage role runs 15–21 days with 12‑hour shifts, day or night, accommodations in camp, and flights from Edmonton or Calgary.

Responsibilities include following supervisor instructions, safe operation of equipment, and reading gauges to verify results. Pre‑access drug/alcohol test and specific certificates are required.

Qualifications

• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test clearance required.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification.
• Basic rigging knowledge and equipment-specific certification (Zoom Boom, Skid Steer).
• Clean driving record required and valid licences as applicable.

• Receives instructions for moving or excavating materials.
• Demonstrates safe operation of all equipment.
• Reads gauges and understands results to guide work.

Jardeg is recruiting Equipment Operator’s to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as October 3rd. Duration is 15-21 days, working 12 hours per day, straight through the outage. Day shift and night shift positions available.

Responsibilities

• Receives written and oral instructions from supervisor regarding materials to move or excavate
• Demonstrates safe operation of all equipment
• Reads and understands the results and purpose of all gauges and equipment

Position Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test

• Basic Rigging
• Equipment specific certification: Zoom Boom and Skid Steer
