Job summary

J Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson Pipefitters for the CNRL Albian Fall Outage near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Shifts include day or night with accommodations in a camp and flights from Edmonton and Calgary provided.

This temporary outage begins in early October and runs through October 26th. Responsibilities include laying out, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems, and ensuring leak-free operation with proper testing.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test completed.
• CSTS 09 or CSO.
• Confined Space.
• Fall Protection.
• Basic Rigging.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Measure, cut, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings; demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of piping system components.
• Use testing equipment to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson Pipefitter's to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as the beginning of October and lasting as late as October 26th.

Responsibilities:

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
