Job summary

Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking a customer-oriented delivery driver in Airdrie, AB. You will deliver and pick up equipment to customer sites, inspect vehicles, complete logs, and maintain accurate records.

This role requires a clean driving record, a valid Class 5/G license, the ability to lift about 50 lbs, and comfort with outdoor work in varying weather. Overtime is available and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5/G license with clean or satisfactory abstract.
• Experience operating heavy trucks or transportation of construction equipment is an asset.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and professional vehicle care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up equipment to and from customer jobsites.
• Load/unload equipment and secure load per procedures.
• Inspect vehicles daily and perform basic pre/post inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery/pickup records and customer signatures.
• Inform dispatch of delays and note new sales opportunities.
• Tag and move broken equipment to repair area and complete forms.
• Provide basic instruction on safe equipment operation.
• Keep the truck clean and professional at all times.
