Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in customer service/retail, preferably in the rental industry.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract; Class 3 is an asset.
• Proficiency with computers; knowledge of inventory software is an asset.
• Safety certifications (First Aid, TDG, H2S) are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Staging and organizing equipment on company property.
• Loading, unloading, fueling and washing equipment.
• Inspection and servicing of equipment to meet specs prior to rental.
• Delivery and pickup of equipment & accessories to customers at their location.
• Inspection on return for damage or loss.
• Maintain on-site inventories; strong inventory control.
• Track rental equipment and service/repair issues.
• Develop relationships to be a reliable customer contact.
• Represent Falcon Rentals professionally at all times.
• Front counter and customer service duties; rent contracts per SOP.
• Coverage for other staff absences as required.

We are looking for a customer-oriented , motivated individual to join our professional team as an Equipment Coordinator at our High Prairie branch. This position will report to the Branch Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Staging and organizing of equipment on company property
• Loading, unloading, fueling and washing of equipment
• Inspection and servicing of equipment as necessary prior to rental to ensure equipment meets operational specifications
• Delivery and pick up of equipment & accessories to customers at their location
• Inspection of equipment upon return for any damage or loss
• Maintain and document on-site inventories; strong commitment to inventory control required
• Maintain and Track all rental equipment and service/repair issues related to the rental fleet
• Develop relationships to become a reliable contact for customer inquiries
• Represent Falcon Rentals in a professional manner at all times

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Front counter and customer service duties; communicate professionally & effectively
• Rent equipment and related items & process rental contracts as per standard operating procedures
• Coverage as required for other staff absences and other duties and responsibilities as required

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of two years' experience in the customer service/retail industry, preferably in the rental industry
• Mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of equipment
• Minimum of grade 12 or equivalent
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract, Class 3 considered an asset
• Customer service oriented, a self starter, and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast paced dynamic environment with strict deadlines
• Effective communication skills with the ability to follow verbal directions as well as written company and safety procedures
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Can work autonomously or together with a team and provide each other support as required to meet business and customer needs
• Flexibility to be on call for after hours customer support
• Proficiency with computers; knowledge of equipment or inventory software is a definite asset
• Safety oriented mindset: First Aid, TDG, H2S would be an asset
