Job summary

Falcon Equipment Rentals Inc. in Alberta seeks a Class 5 septic truck operator for our High Prairie branch. You will drive, service, and deliver septic equipment and portable toilets, ensuring customer satisfaction and proper documentation.

Primary duties include vehicle inspections, minor maintenance, and accurate paperwork. We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a company offering growth and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract; Class 3 considered an asset.
• Q Certification - Air Brakes Certificate of Completion.
• Equipment Delivery Experience an Asset.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, weather, and road conditions.
• Ability to follow verbal directions as well as written company and safety procedures.
• Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs and perform repairs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• Can work together with a team and provide each other support.
• Safety requirements: First Aid, TDG, H2S would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive, operate, and service company septic vacuum truck.
• Deliver, remove, and service portable toilet units for customers at their location.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered equipment and collect payment for services when required; submit documentation to manager.
• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Conduct minor maintenance tasks on commercial vehicles as needed.
• Provide support and ensure customer satisfaction during delivery of rental equipment.
• Clear and effective communication with staff and customers.
• Promote company image through excellent customer satisfaction.
• Complete necessary paperwork for vehicle inspections.
• Maintain proper documentation throughout the equipment rental process and internal safety controls.
• Bring a positive energy to the branch to help maintain and improve morale of the team day to day.
• Other duties or tasks as assigned by your manager or management team.
• Delivery and pick up of equipment & accessories to customers at their location.
• Coverage as required for other staff absences and other duties and responsibilities as required.
