Job summary

Falcon Equipment Rentals Inc. in Peace River seeks a Class 5 Septic Truck Operator to join our branch. You will drive, operate, and service a septic vacuum truck, and handle portable toilet units at customer sites, while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

This full-time role offers guaranteed hours, competitive pay starting at $21 per hour, benefits, and growth opportunities. You will report to the Branch Manager and work with a small team delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract required; Class 3 considered an asset.
• Q Certification - Air Brakes required or in process.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs; physically fit for outdoor work.

We are looking for a customer-oriented , motivated individual to join our professional team as a Class 5 Septic Truck Operator at our Peace River branch. This position will report to the Branch Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive, operate, and service company septic vacuum truck

Deliver, remove, and service portable toilet units for customers at their location

Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered equipment and collect payment for services when required; submit documentation to manager

Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order

Conduct minor maintenance tasks on commercial vehicles as needed

Provide support and ensure customer satisfaction during delivery of rental equipment

Clear and effective communication with staff and customers

Promote company image through excellent customer satisfaction

Complete necessary paperwork for vehicle inspections

Maintain proper documentation throughout the equipment rental process and internal safety controls

Bring a positive energy to the branch to help maintain and improve morale of the team day to day

Other duties or tasks as assigned by your manager or management team

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivery and pick up of equipment & accessories to customers at their location

Coverage as required for other staff absences and other duties and responsibilities as required

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract, Class 3 considered an asset

Q Certification - Air Brakes Certificate of Completion

Equipment Delivery Experience an Asset

Physically fit and able to lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)

Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, weather, and road conditions

Ability to follow verbal directions as well as written company and safety procedures

Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs and perform repairs

Strong communication and customer service skills

Demonstrates a professional demeanor and positive attitude

Can work together with a team and provide each other support

Safety requirements: First Aid, TDG, H2S would be an asset
