Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst for the Cogito Reporting team at Toronto General Hospital. You will implement report content and analytics tools in Epic, collaborating with BI Developers and clinical teams to meet end-user data needs.

The role requires 3–5 years in BI and data analytics, experience with SQL, and familiarity with Epic Cogito. You will lead requirements sessions, design dashboards, and ensure accurate reporting content across enterprise

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent.
A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in analyzing, designing, testing and deploying BI and Data Analytics reporting tools.
Experience configuring, testing, and validating reports and dashboards for accuracy.
Proficiency and demonstrated experience with analytics tools.
Familiarity with Epic Cogito and BI workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead Epic reporting content requirements gathering sessions with report consumers and clinical/business analysts.
Provide professional internal and client-facing documentation (SRS, BRD, etc.).
Build or modify Epic reports, templates, dashboards, and scorecards for report consumers.
Create data for report testing and ensure dashboards and reports are thoroughly tested.
Review peer reports for validity, accuracy and completeness.
