William Osler Health System is actively implementing a modernized hospital information system with Epic. The Epic Applications Analyst will design, configure, build, test, and support HIS workflows to meet clinical and non-clinical needs.

The role requires a degree or diploma in a computer science or health-related field, familiarity with hospital workflows, and Epic certification is a plus. Occasional travel to the United States may be required as part of project activities.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in computer science or health-related discipline.
• Epic certification or experience with Epic HIS is an asset.
• Strong understanding of hospital workflows is an asset.
• Experience with modernized HIS in a hospital setting is an asset.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Enterprise applications (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote).
• Ability to learn new software and work in an agile environment.

Responsabilités

• Participate in workflow design, analysis, build, testing, and maintenance of Epic software.
• Analyze, review, and test new Epic functionality and releases.
• Collaborate with Epic and internal stakeholders to map future workflows.
• Create and maintain documentation of key configuration decisions and builds.
• Lead and participate in meetings to discuss deliverables and milestones.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues to provide creative resolutions.
• Support vendor communications and ensure HIS alignment with hospital needs.
• Achieve Epic certification and participate in on-call support.
