Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking an Environmental Execution Planner to lead environmental planning and compliance across project lifecycles. You will coordinate between project teams, construction crews, environmental inspectors, and subject‑matter experts to ensure permits, mitigations, and documentation are properly implemented and tracked.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting environmental planning, compliance, and execution for linear infrastructure projects.
• Experience with hydroelectric, transmission or utility infrastructure projects is an asset.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulatory requirements in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental project management and compliance oversight during planning and execution phases.
• Act as liaison between project team, construction team, environmental inspection team, contractors, and SMEs.
• Develop and implement environmental compliance execution strategies and inspection programs.
• Create and maintain project tracking systems, templates, and compliance logs.
• Review contractor environmental management plans, work plans, permits, and studies.
