Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a dedicated environmental cleaning services worker to support Manitoba's healthcare facilities. The role requires previous cleaning experience in a health care setting and a Grade 10 education; a recognized housekeeping course is an asset.

The successful candidate will work in person with as-needed hours, and must pass Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, plus Child and Adult Abuse Registry checks as conditions of employment.

Experience

• Previous environmental cleaning services experience in a health care setting preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Grade 10 education.
• Recognized Housekeeping Course (e.g., “Fundamental Housekeeping Methodology”) an asset.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
