Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Traffic Control Person certificate is a plus.
• CSTS/ WHMIS certificates are required.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift and stretch regularly.
• Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily activities and traffic control schedule.
• Direct the flow of traffic around construction sites using signs, hand signals, and communication devices.
• Set up and remove traffic control equipment within a site area, including pylons, signage and barricades.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with traffic safety regulations.
• Communicate with construction crews and the general public.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site as requested.
• Perform general site housekeeping duties as required.
• Assist with other duties to support the site team.
