Universal Group is hiring a Traffic Control Person (TCP) to manage traffic in work zones across Vancouver Island. You will set up zones, operate equipment, and communicate clearly to motorists while following safety standards.

You will participate in safety meetings, assist in investigations as needed, and maintain required certifications. This role requires outdoor work in all weather and offers training, benefits after probation, and potential for advancement.

Competenze

• Valid BC TCP Certification issued by a regulatory body.
• Effective communication and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Mansioni

• Set up traffic control zones and adjust work zone equipment.
• Give traffic control directions clearly so motorists understand them.
• Attend safety meetings and follow health and safety procedures.
• Complete required safety documentation and reporting.
