Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is hiring for an entry-level manufacturing position at our Englehart, Ontario facility. Start in labour and housekeeping duties while learning mill processes, with potential progression to operator roles as you gain experience.

Expect a Monday-Friday start with eight-hour shifts, transitioning to a rotating 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays with increased compensation. Competitive pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Able to follow safety protocols and maintain safe work environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Comfort with using computers, tablets, mobile devices and production software.
• Able to read and follow written procedures and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and facility.
• Operate and monitor production machines and equipment safely.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Assist in loading/unloading and documentation of materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to hit production goals.
