Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking safety‑mocused, energetic team members for our Englehart, Ontario facility. This entry-level role starts at $31.09/hour with a Monday‑Friday 8‑hour shift before moving to a 12‑hour 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays with higher compensation.

You'll begin with labour and housekeeping duties, learning mill processes and systems, with opportunities to progress to operator roles in quality, material handling and process control.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule including days and nights.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Ability to use computers, tablets and workplace devices for trainings and production.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Operate Machinery: Safely operate and monitor production machines.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and report discrepancies.
• Material Handling: Assist in loading/unloading and documentation.
• Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Team Collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to reach goals.
