Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring entry-level team members for our Englehart, Ontario facility. You will perform labour and housekeeping duties while learning mill processes, equipment, and systems.

Opportunities may lead to operator roles with increased responsibilities and hands-on training in production technology. Starting wage is $31.09/hour with shift differentials and a bonus program, plus medical/dental/vision, pension, overtime, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift (2-2-3) including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to follow written procedures and safety requirements.
• Able to operate basic production equipment and monitor performance.
• Willing to participate in training and development toward production operator duties.

Responsibilities

• Safety compliance and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Housekeeping and organization of the work area.
• Operate production machinery per SOPs and monitor operations.
• Conduct quality checks and report discrepancies.
• Handle materials and documentation for materials flow.
• Participate in process improvements and teamwork to meet production goals.
• Work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
