Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking entry-level team members for our Englehart, Ontario mill. Start with labour and housekeeping tasks and learn mill processes, equipment, and systems. Progression to operator roles may occur with training and development opportunities.

Initial 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday will transition to a rotating 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays with increased compensation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and safety requirements.
• Willingness to learn multiple jobs and participate in training for progression.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, climbing, lifting and manual labor in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Safely operate production machinery and monitor equipment.
• Conduct quality checks and report discrepancies.
• Assist with material handling and documentation.
• Participate in process improvements to reduce waste.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
