Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Englehart OSB Mill is seeking a Stores Associate for an 8-month temporary contract in Englehart, Ontario. You will manage MRO inventory, drive store operations, and collaborate with maintenance to ensure uptime at the lowest total cost of ownership for GP.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with a team, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Compensation ranges from CAD 26.00 to CAD 31.00 per hour, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of inventory management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and data sorting.
• Knowledge of TEAMS and Outlook.
• Ability to follow safety rules and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Manage Spare Parts supply operations including MRO parts and storeroom inventory.
• Develop inventory plans to maintain optimal levels and support uptime.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to understand inventory needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them.
• Perform periodic inventory reviews and cycle counts as needed.
• Keep storeroom organized with accurate labeling and databases.
• Handle and move inventory, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Support Vendor-Managed and Committed Inventory initiatives.
• Manage New Stock initiation process.
• Train others on stores processes and policy compliance.
• Generate material releases and follow up as needed.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and investigate root causes.
