PCL Industrial Management Inc. is seeking a Project Assistant in Vancouver for an exciting role that involves project planning, safety inspections, and field communication in a construction environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing engineering degrees and have a strong motivation to excel in the construction field.
Assisting with project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control.
Participation in project meetings.
Submit requests for information.
Assisting with the identification and resolution of field technical issues.
Acting as an ambassador for the various safety campaigns.
Conduct field safety inspections.
Communicating changes with trades staff.
Adhoc duties as required.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role :
Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical, electrical, or civil major.
Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
Application of various computer software programs will be required, including Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is an asset.
Self-motivated.
Working Conditions :
Successful applicants must be able to provide their own CSA approved steel toed boots and be willing to take and pass a Pre-Access Alcohol & Drug Test.

Pay Range : $20.20 - $26
PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
