Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Team Lead, Engineering Management to join the Engineering Management Office (EMO). You will lead a growing team of about 20 Engineering Managers across a diverse project portfolio, promoting excellence, coaching, and governance adherence.

As a functional leader, you will drive capability development, facilitate training, and support strategic initiatives while aligning with directors and discipline leaders to ensure successful project delivery across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• P.Eng. designation or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of engineering, project delivery, or engineering management experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of governance processes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Engineering Managers across projects.
• Promote a high-performing, inclusive team environment with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and resource development activities.
• Promote consistent application of engineering management processes, tools, and standards.
• Monitor governance requirements and drive improvement initiatives.
• Assist with resource planning and workforce forecasting for Engineering Managers.
