Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada is seeking a Team Lead, Engineering Management to guide a growing team of Engineering Managers across diverse projects. You will promote excellence in management practices, drive continuous improvement, and ensure governance and standards are applied consistently.

You will collaborate with leadership to strengthen organizational capability, support project delivery, and advance strategic initiatives within the Engineering Management Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• P.Eng. designation or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.
• PMP or equivalent project management credentials are assets.
• Minimum 15 years of engineering, project delivery, or engineering management experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing technical professionals.
• Proven experience as Engineering Manager on complex projects.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and project delivery.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to influence, build consensus, and drive organizational change.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Engineering Managers.
• Promote consistent application of engineering management processes and standards across projects.
• Ensure compliance with governance requirements and quality processes.
• Assist with resource planning and workforce forecasting.
• Provide advisory support on complex project issues, risks, and delivery strategies.
• Lead strategic initiatives to enhance engineering management capability.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development activities.
• Foster a high-performing, inclusive team environment.
