As a Class I Engineer, you will:
  1. Maintain guest rooms and areas to ensure they are fully operational, safe, and comfortable.
  2. Use your technical skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
  3. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, resolving issues satisfactorily.
  4. Assist with grounds maintenance.
  5. Keep mechanical areas safe, clean, and organized, and maintain clear records.
Fundamentals

A high school diploma with technical or vocational training is preferred. Hotel experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge in carpentry, painting, electrical work, or related fields is expected. Effective communication, professionalism, teamwork, and independent decision-making are essential. Knowledge of the Kemper Insurance Red Tag System and driving a pickup truck may be required. The role involves lifting at least 40 pounds.
