Job summary

Indigo Park Canada is seeking Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officers in Vancouver. You will patrol areas by vehicle, issue warnings, and ensure adherence to parking codes while delivering helpful public information.

The role emphasizes safety, independence, and strong customer service in a fast-paced outdoor environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and handle challenging situations professionally.
• Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Patrol an assigned area by vehicle.
• Issue warnings and quotes for illegally parked vehicles (using LPR vehicle system).
• Identify vehicles in violation of parking codes.
• Make arrangements for illegally parked or abandoned vehicles to be towed, and direct tow-truck drivers to the correct vehicles.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions such as replacement of unsafe signage within lot, etc.
• Prepare and maintain required records, records of parking enforcement, operational records and records of quoted quotations.
• Maintain assigned equipment and supplies such as hand-held computers, quote book, etc.
• Provide information to the public regarding parking regulations and facilities.
• Inform the public about policies, services or procedures.
• Identify stolen, and counterfeit parking permits.
• Duties as assigned by manager.
