Job summary

Indigo Park Canada is seeking an energetic Event Flagger to guide vehicles and assist guests at Rogers Arena. You will ensure a safe and positive parking experience and provide clear directions to event entrances.

Role involves outdoor work in varying weather, standing for long periods, and coordinating with the Event Supervisor on safety concerns. Bilingualism is a plus and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on arrival with a friendly demeanour.
  • Communicate safety concerns or incidents to the Event Supervisor.
  • Provide clear directions to guests for parking locations and event entrances.
  • Direct vehicles safely into and out of the event parking lot.
  • Assist customers with pay stations via intercom systems.
  • Ensure all signs are posted and maintained.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and monitor lot occupancy.
  • Explain parking rules, prices, and opening hours to clients.
  • Keep the workspace clean, including gates, machines, and booths.

As an Event Flagger with Indigo Park Canada, you'll be at the heart of the action, guiding vehicles, assisting guests, and ensuring a safe and positive parking experience at the Rogers Arena. Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive on site
  • Communicate any safety concerns, incidents, or unusual situations to the Event Supervisor
  • Provide clear and friendly directions to guests regarding parking locations and event entrances.
  • Direct vehicles safely into and out of the event parking lot
  • Assist customers on how to use pay stations through intercom systems
  • Ensure all signs are posted and in good condition
  • Work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
  • Monitor lot and check for parking space availability
  • Manage, assist and advise clients on the parking rules and procedures (prices, troubleshooting, opening hours, etc.)
  • Keep the workplace clean at all times – daily cleaning of gate, machines, and booth
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure, demonstrate resourcefulness, and handle various situations effectively.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
