Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an Energy Services Technician in Red Deer, AB to join our Surface Rentals team. You will help mobilize and maintain assets, assist with rigging solids control equipment, and complete project documentation.

Responsibilities include safe operations, field maintenance, and vehicle upkeep while working long hours in remote locations. We value safety, training, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid class 5 driver's license.
• Valid H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO tickets required.
• Experience with production services or well sites preferred.
• Ability to work long hours away from home in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Assist with the mobilization and maintenance of assets in the field.
• Assist with the rig up and rig down of solids control equipment such as centrifuges.
• Assist with the tear-out of all assets and equipment at the completion of the project.
• Complete all documentation required for the work being performed (JSA's, work orders, inspection checklists, time entry, log books, inventory management, journey management).
• Maintain and operate any assigned vehicle in accordance with Clean Harbors policies and procedures.
• Washing and servicing of equipment.

Energy Services Technicians are responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of maintenance and service is provided while addressing client service concerns relating to equipment.

• Knowledge and background related to the scope of work (production services, well sites, wastewater or remote accommodations);
• Good mechanical background with troubleshooting skills is preferred;
• Excellent attention to detail and well developed organizational skills;
• Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently and in a team environment;
• Ability to work long hours away from home in remote locations;
• Ability to work on-call on a rotating basis as scheduled;
• Flexible, motivated, capable of working in a fast paced, demanding environment and able to respond to change quickly.
